We are currently hiring two Regional Sales Managers in  the (GTA East) to represent our client, Danone Canada, and accelerate their growth in the dairy and plant-based categories. This is a full-time position, and we are looking to have the right candidate start as soon as possible.

The Regional Sales Managers will be responsible for an assigned territory and achieving the client’s objectives as it relates to distribution gains and sales targets the foodservice and independent convenience channel and manage a team of part-time sales specialists to support sales in your territory.

Working closely with the program lead, you will:

  • Ensure sales growth for client’s products in the territory according to the objectives and targets determined by:
    • Identifying sales opportunities on the assigned market unit and establishing action plans to secure them.
    • Optimizing the go-to market distribution and generating additional points-of-contact in the foodservice and/or retail channels.
    • Analyzing the need of each customer to optimize their sales based on clearly defined objectives (i.e. Must Stock Listings and innovations).
    • Managing regional distributor relationships, preparing and presenting quarterly business reviews, increase account penetration within regional accounts and attain objectives
    • Leading the partnership with distributor sales reps/buyers in order to secure listings
  • Provide appropriate reporting using the reporting technology (app)
    • Analyze data and propose action plans to maximize the development of the assigned territory
  • Follow the overall implementation plans developed by the program lead, and/or Business Development Managers
  • Ensure field visits are focusing on the monthly priorities and targets are met
    • Complete audits, review and compare shelf facings, competitive actions and product offerings on a regular basis
    • Ensure execution of any display/promo activities, and oversee the proper operation and follow-up
  • Participate in various tradeshows (in-person or virtual; may include evening and weekend work)
    • Prepare samples and supplies needed, present and communicate with potential customers
  • Be adaptable to the changing and evolving reality of channel opportunities
  • Potential travel throughout Ontario on a quarterly basis



  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Knowledgeable in the foodservice industry and/or retail is an asset
  • Team management is an asset, or relevant experience
  • Unlimited access to a vehicle with a valid driver’s license
  • Competent with office and online technology
  • Fluent in English
