Christmas Market display – Best Buy Canada

MARKETING CHALLENGE

 

There’s nothing more exciting than the magic of Christmas morning! Best Buy Canada turned to VIBRANT to bring this heartwarming feeling to life at the Great Montreal Christmas Market between November 25 and December 30, 2023. The objective was twofold: deliver an exciting and memorable holiday experience for shoppers and encourage purchase by creating a visually stunning display featuring gifts from Best Buy’s Holiday Gift Guide.

Solution

 

Aligned with Best Buy’s visual identity, VIBRANT designed and produced a real life-size interior scene intended to represent the joy of a perfect gift waiting to be opened. The display, in the form of a diorama, depicted the perfect holiday morning at home. The blue monochromatic room with a touch of yellow used the brand’s iconic colours and created a feeling of Christmas magic, attracting attention and putting Best Buy gifts centre stage. The structure itself was designed as a giant gift to reiterate the idea of the perfect gift.

Results

 

Best Buy invaded the Great Montreal Christmas Market with a sense of magic and pure joy.

The Blue Christmas morning diorama, with its visual warmth and powerful colour, captured the attention of shoppers, creating a positive impact and inspiring many of them to find the perfect gift amongst Best Buy’s star products!

On the Saturday afternoon, Best Buy spread a little joy by surprising visitors with exciting gifts, creating a unique, magical experience.

With this brand activation, Best Buy aimed to tap into the holiday joy and establish an emotional connection with consumers during this festive season.

Additionally, a gift map poster was produced and installed at the venue, helping passersby locate the different gifts from Best Buy’s Holiday Gift Guide within the display. It also served as an invitation to participate in Best Buy’s social media contest that ran during the activation.
